Slavic Gospel Association

SGA is committed to working in partnership with local churches across Eastern Europe and Central Asia to address the particular challenges of building the Church of Jesus Christ in former Communist lands. The work is divided into four main areas of ministry.

TRAINING WORKERS

Biblical Leadership Training is carried out through a number of mission schools which provide solid foundation courses in Biblical leadership, with the aim of equipping leaders for gospel ministry, as well as helping them to reach succeeding generations with God’s word.

SPONSORING LEADERS

The programme of financial sponsorship and support has proven to be an efficient and effective strategy to enable pastors, evangelists, children’s and youth workers, as well as Christian authors in the work of extending the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

PUBLISHING LITERATURE

Through its literature ministry good Christian literature is made available, which will help meet spiritual needs and equip believers for service. This involves translating, publishing and distributing Bibles and books, in addition to supporting ‘in-country’ writers to provide appropriate material for each context.

DISTRIBUTING AID

SGA works in fellowship with local churches to show the love of Christ by ministering to the practical needs of people struggling on a daily basis. This is a lifeline of help and hope for the elderly, widows, orphans, as well as those affected by natural disasters and conflicts.
