Mission Agency Partner

Mission Aviation Fellowship

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) shares the love of Jesus Christ through aviation and technology so that isolated people may be physically and spiritually transformed.

MAF has been bringing help, hope and healing to some of the remotest places on earth since 1945, founded by veterans with a heart for God who saw the impact of World War II and wanted planes to be used for good, not destruction.

Our pilots and personnel deliver relief workers, doctors, pastors, conduct medical evacuations, school books, food and medicines – reaching places that are difficult or sometimes impossible to reach by other means, such as communities that are isolated because of difficult terrain, lack of roads, adverse weather conditions, or where overland travel is dangerous due to conflict, war or bandits.

In 2023 an MAF plane took off every 5.6 minutes, flying to around 1,000 destinations.

MAF is also training the missionary pilots and engineers of the future, by offering training programmes to help people gain the qualifications they need to serve with MAF overseas.

iMAP seeks to provide a forum that will enable its partners to more easily interact with each other, obtain and share information about mission opportunities and generally support and facilitate those engaged in Christian mission.

iMAP will achieve this primarily through the medium of online services and social media-based communications, and through harnessing the collective knowledge and experience of its partners within a shared community of mission agencies.
