'Resourcing world mission together'

Dublin Worldwide 2013 - Ramez and Rebecca Atallah from Cairo, Egypt.

What the rest has to say to the west.
Here is a video briefly showing the talks given at the iMAP Dublin WORLDWIDE 2013.

They reported on a region that is going through many challenges and changes.

Ramez and Rebecca Atallah

Ramez Atallah left Egypt as a child, after his family's property was confiscated by the socialist regime in the 50s.

Ramez lived in Canada, where he met and married his wife, Rebecca. In 1980, they moved back to Egypt with their two young children. Ramez has been General Secretary of the Bible Society of Egypt since 1990, and Rebecca ministers to children in the Mokattam Garbage Village on the outskirts of Cairo.

Rebecca Atellah grew up in Haiti where her parents were missionaries.

Rebecca attended McGill University where she met and married Ramez. In the seventies she pioneered the World Vision ministry in Quebec. In Cairo she leads a ministry to handicapped children and the disabled at the Mokattam Garbage Village and among Sudanese refugees in Egypt.
