About the topic: 'Mission, local church and us.'
Every year we choose a part of the world, a subsection of society or a missional theme to equip and engage people.  Last year it was "Northern Africa" and the year before "Generation Next" (students/young adult ministry).  This year, we choose the theme "Mission: Local Church and Us" because we wanted people to grasp that mission is at the heart of the local church, and that the local church (community) is at the heart of mission.  In particular, to free people to see how they can reach out as a community, and not have to have a heavy individualistic guilt about whether they are personally have a gift of evangelism or not.  Philip Moore of Acts 29 Europe and Baptist Missions will be our main speaker.

.

Irish Mission Agencies Partnership and other mission agencies will be attending with presentations and display stands. This event is orgainsed by the Munster Baptist Missions committee.
